Our Vision
True Nature was born from a deep longing—to reconnect with what is natural, intentional, and in harmony with both the body and the Earth. In a world where synthetic, plastic-based clothing dominates, we saw the need for a different kind of activewear—one that reflects the way we choose to move, live, and exist.
A Personal Journey
Cher Jones, a yoga teacher and lifelong seeker, and the founder of True Nature, had a transformational moment after a five-day water fast. As her body and soul reset, she realized she could no longer wear her old clothes—her body and soul just said no. She began to build a wardrobe of all-natural clothing, and one piece at a time, she started creating and designing her own. As a dedicated yoga practitioner and teacher, she couldn’t stand to see students practicing in plastic leggings, knowing how out of sync they were with the principles of yoga and the natural body. She called her cousin Jessica Rose, and together, they began the journey to build True Nature Attire.
The Problem
Most activewear—even from brands you trust—is made from cheap synthetic fibers like polyester, elastane, and spandex. These materials shed microplastics, contain harmful chemicals, and disrupt the body’s natural balance. Spiral Design Process
Each piece begins as a seed—a need, an inspiration, a moment of awareness. From there, it unfolds:
Inward Reflection: How does this garment feel? How does it move? How does it serve the body?
Creation & Testing: Prototyping, refining, and wearing it in real life, through breath, movement, and daily rituals.
Expansion & Integration: Gathering feedback, fine-tuning, and allowing the design to evolve into its fullest expression.
